Mr. Andrade is a Senior Advisor. Mr. Andrade joined BroadSpan in 2016 and has over 30 years of experience in the Brazilian financial sector, where he held positions with Banco Santander, BankBoston, CCF, Bank of Montreal and Banco Francês e Brasileiro.

Recently Mr. Andrade was responsible for the Corporate and Large Corporate commercial teams in the Southeast (exceps sate of São Paulo, Notheast and Middle-West regions of Brazil. Previously, Mr. Andrade worked for 18 years at Banco Santander Brasil, spending 10 of those years as Corporate Banking Executive Superintendent in the states of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo. In this position, he was responsible for a portfolio comprised of clients from an array of industries, including public and upper middle market companies. As part of the commercial branch and as a deciding member of a number of credit committees, Mr. Andrade gained deep experience in risk assessment, financial negotiations and debt restructuring, always interacting with other banks and investors. During this time, he participated in many transactions, including IPOs for MPX and Amil, M&A processes for Haztec and MPE, debenture issues for Valid, bond refinancings for Globo, as well as other capital raising processes for companies such as Grupo D’Or, CEDAE, Solaris, Casa & Video and Body Tech.

Mr. Andrade has a degree in Economic Sciences and an Executive MBA from COPPEAD – UFRJ.
