Gabriel Gerenstein


Mr. Gabriel Gerenstein, CFA, is a Director at BroadSpan Capital based in the firm’s Miami office. He has more than 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, and private equity environments.

Mr. Gerenstein is a member of the firm’s management committee.

Prior to joining BroadSpan he was a senior member of the Corporate Development & Strategy team at Ryder System (NYSE: R), a Fortune 500 company that provides logistics and transportation solutions worldwide. Previously, he worked for Environmental Capital Partners, a private equity fund in New York focused on buyouts and growth capital investments in middle-market companies in the environmental, green product & services and cleantech industries. Earlier on, he was a founding member of Farlie Turner & Co, a boutique investment bank focused on M&A and restructuring advisory. He started his career as an analyst at Duff & Phelps, an international middle-market investment bank. Throughout his career, Mr. Gerenstein has executed engagements representing over US$50 billion across many different industries and geographies.

Mr. Gerenstein received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BBA with Honors in Finance, Accounting and Computer Information Systems from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is also a CFA charterholder.
